outlined text

Getting outlined text is easy to do and looks very pro! I use this effect on 99% of my layouts!

1. Open a new document in Photoshop and select the Text tool:

2. Click anywhere on the canvas and write out a chosen phrase or word
3. Next, go to Layer>> Layer Style>> Stroke [example]

4. This should come up. I usually set the border size to 1 but it's entirely up to you. Adjust everything to your likeing and then click on the Colour box!

5. A colour picker will pop up and now you may select whichever colour you want the outline to be. [example] Here, I chose #FFAFFC.

6. Press OK and there you have it =)
