Screenshots are pretty self explanitory. They're shots (captures) of your screen. Knowing how to do this is very useful for writing tutorials! Screenshots are how I show each step and so on.

1. To begin with, you must go to the window you want to take a picture of. Here is what my screen looks like:


2. Now look for this button on your keyboard! Every keyboard is different, but for me, the PrtSc/SysRq button is next to NumLk/ScrLck


3. Press down on PrtSc (nothing should happen).

4. Then open up Paint or any Image Editing Software. Hold Ctrl + V or Paste and the screenshot should appear!

5. Crop, edit, and scale to suit your needs =D
