Rewritten on February 23, 2008
Ever noticed a different site name written on some of my content? Here is a timeline of my site life, in a nutshell.

PICZO
My 6th grade friends had their own piczo sites and I became very interested in creating my own. Over the span of 3 years, I rotated through over 5 different site names and abandoned each of them. All contained personal photos and memories of my friends and I. Fortunately, each new site gradually expanded in content, graphics and tutorial. My final project was called b3dtimebear.piczo.com There, I established the basics of HTML, blending, and animations.

FREEWEBS
At the end of my time on piczo, I recieved a total of 58 customized site awards from other affiliates and online acquaintances. However, I felt it was time for a new challenge and ventured to Freewebs. There was quite a hassle during the transition, but soon enough, I grasped the concept of absolute positioning, and continued on from there. My first and last website on freewebs was www.mischa-bubble.co.nr, a fan site for Mischa Barton. I needed a break from teaching people 24/7 how to do this and that, so designing mischa-bubble was perfect.

SUBDOMAIN (via FTP)
Only five days later, I was offered hosting for a subdomain. In the following 24 hours that day, I recieved 7 more e-mails from different hosts which accepted my subdomain request. I liked glamvia.org the best: for it's cool name and friendly owner, Lucia. She quickly set up my FTP account and I was all set to go with my new site, pink-boom.glamvia.org. Snazzy name, don't you think? For those of you who aren't educated on the wonders of FTP: Unlike piczo, freewebs, etc. there is no site builder whatsoever. Now, I'd like to direct everyone's attention to the START button in the task bar (located in the bottom-left of your screen) Select All Programs>> Accessories>> Notepad. Congratulations! You have arrived at the FTP "site builder" :)

SUBDOMAIN (via cPanel X)
I'd like to think that pink-boom was the peak of my web-design advancement. I worked with CSS and built the entire site around I-frames. Pink-boom was used as a blog and provided content, as well. At this point, my fan site was still up and running and I was prepared for hosting mischa-bubble as a subdomain. Sander @ popstory accepted my application and once again, I was all set to go. But hold on... what's my FTP username? cPanel X is just another way to building sites. It's actually more simple than FTP and nearly identical to the downgraded HTML mode in freewebs. Mischa-bubble.popstory was not only entirely coded using Iframes, but I also incorporated Coppermine Photo Gallery. When first introduced to Coppermine, I gravely struggled with changing the template, theme, style, etc. Today, I've got it 99% wired and am forever grateful to the inventor of such a nifty program.

SUBDOMAIN #2 (via cPanel X)
Early June of 2007, I heard that Nancy Drew was coming out in theatres! I really admired Emma Roberts in "Aquamarine," so after debating awhile, I decided to open yet another fansite. Sander generously provided me with another subdomain and I went to straight to work. In this particular site, I designed it as professional as possible. E-roberts.popstory.com, also known as Endless Emma, is strictly coded using php. I also began using lots of scripts and dropped freedback/response-o-matic forms. Cutenews and image opacity rollovers were just some of the various scripts involved.

DOMAIN
On June 15th, 2007, I recieved an email from Bashar @ FanLane which detailed that she had purchased me, my very own domain name: mischa-bubble.com. Later, in August that same summer, I found out that Sander (popstory) had been trying to contact me while I was away on vacation. Turned out, he also bought me a domain - but for my Emma site. And so, endless-emma.info was born! I am really proud of how much I've progressed with photoshop, css and web-design as a whole. There are so many possibilities for the future and places were I can now apply my skills. My hope is to continue web-design for a very long time :)

SUBODOMAIN #2 (via FTP)
My pink-boom FTP connection was experiencing downtime and I had no way to upload anything or even log in. For 2 weeks, I focused on my two fansites (and that was fine), but I still wanted to continue running a personal site. Emma @ dinorawr hosted me and on June 23, 2007, thedisco.dinorawr.info was officially born =D My host's always seem to be half way around the world from me. First, Lucia in Australia, Sander in Netherlands, and now Emma from the UK!!

DOMAIN #3
My journey to hannabeth-fan.com is nothing out of the ordinary. Shortly after losing interest in both Emma & Mischa, I applied at fan-sites.org for a subdomain, Gertie replied back saying everything was a go. Then Jac (the awesome, original owner of hannabeth-fan.com) came into the picture - and after one e-mail, Hanna Fever officially collaborated with hannabeth-fan. I believe some of my best layout designs came to life on HF!

Shockingly you reached the end of such a lengthy page.
